Fund Strategy
Wolverine Opportunity Fund is a fundamental long/short Canadian equity fund focused on investing in companies with market capitalizations less than $3 billion. It is designed to generate stable, consistent returns by having a combination of high yield securities (equities, convertibles and corporate debt) and traditional high growth stocks. The high-yield securities lower the Fund’s volatility and pay substantial interest income and dividends. The high growth stocks provides the fund with superior alpha- generated capital gains. The Fund also maintains low equity market exposure, typically 40% less than the Toronto Stock Exchange Composite.
